The following post was written by Bibharani, 2019 Global Youth Leadership Summit Participant from Bharat. Check out their experience at the Summit, and how they plans to#innovateforinclusion in their community!

I am Bibharani and I participated in the 2019 Global Youth Leadership Summit as a Youth Leader from Special Olympics Bharat (India). I am a member of the Neheru Yuba Kendra Sports and Youth, Govt. of India as a National Youth Volunteer. I am also in charge of the National Women Mountaineer and Young Athlete Program of Special Olympics Bharat in Dhenkanal District, Odisha, India. When our sir, Mr. Prakash Kumar Rath, Area Director of Special Olympics Bharat Odisha, recommended my name for selection in Global Youth Leadership Summit event, I was very happy.

When we reached Abu Dhabi, the organizers welcomed us and took us to NYU in Abu Dhabi, where the Summit was being held. Here, the volunteers offered us a warm welcome. Amongst all of the events, I enjoyed the colorful cultural program of the World Games Opening Ceremony. The performance moved me because different countries had an opportunity to showcase their cultures with impressive performances.

I want to thank everyone involved with the Global Youth Summit and the Special Olympics Bharat (India) for such a noble endeavor.
