Training Digital Leaders in Ghana

Isaac is a Special Olympics Youth Leader from Ghana who will lead a Youth Innovation Project that trains 55 youth with and without intellectual disabilities on the fundamentals of Information and Communication Technology through school-based computer trainings.

Over the course of the six month project, Isaac will conduct outreach to community partners and local schools. Once students who are excited about expanding their digital toolkits are identified, Isaac will lead a series of workshops teaching basic computer manipulation skills and the basics of Microsoft software. Following these workshops, Isaac envisions participants creating Inclusive Information and Technology Clubs. By training youth in the fundamentals of Information and Communication Technology, Isaac is empowering the Unified Generation to become active digital leaders for inclusion.
